The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson My rating: 5 of 5 stars A seriously good read! It took me awhile to get into it, but as it gradually got more sinister I got sucked in and it was amazing. Larsson’s style of writing really creates a dark atmosphere with quite a few malignant characters that keep you guessing. Lisbeth’s character was intriguing. There is still so...
Meet the man who quit money →
anticapitalist:
In the first year of the 21st century, a man standing by a highway in the middle of America pulled from his pocket his life savings – $30 – laid it inside a phone booth, and walked away. He was 39 years old, came from a good family, and had been to college. He was not mentally ill, nor an addict. His decision appears to have been an act of free will by a competent adult.

Right now, I can’t think of a drama with more annoying characters than Personal Preference. Somehow I can’t stop watching because I want to know how it turns out but damn… practically ALL of the characters annoy the crap out of me.
Was so happy over my results
and then I looked at my bank account. -_-
Now I’m sad and freaking pissed off.

The ghost of Lily Painter by Caitlin Davies My rating: 3 of 5 stars A mystery that leads you full circle. All the ends tied up neatly together by the end. It was an interesting story but hardly spellbinding. View all my reviews

The Wise Man’s Fear by Patrick Rothfuss My rating: 5 of 5 stars oh my god what a cliffhanger. It’s a brilliant story with so many unexpected twists and turns. Patrick Rothfuss’s imagination is amazing! He makes me see things in a whole different way with his construction of the Ademre. At the same time I’m always on the edge of the seat, wanting to race to the end to...
